Exciting New Series of 'Yeralash' Produced by Children at 'MediaLab' in Ust-Alda, Yakutia

The beloved children's comedy show Yeralash is getting a fresh new look, as a new series is being produced by young talents at the MediaLab in Ust-Alda, Yakutia. This creative initiative was made possible thanks to a grant awarded by ElgaUgol and the team’s success in the Innosfera-2023 competition.

The MediaLab, located at the children's creative center "Örkön" in the village of Borogoncychi, Ust-Alda ulus, is a hub of creativity for local children. Equipped with recreational gaming zones, IT-CENTER, and a media lab filled with different computer technologies, the children have been learning the basics of journalism, filmmaking, animation, computer graphics, photography, and mental arithmetic "Ahsaan".

The production of the new series, titled "Sayyıngy Sarsarda", is the main outcome of the children's summer vacation at the Örkön children's camp. The children at the camp have been hard at work, honing their skills and bringing the beloved Yeralash characters to life in a brand-new way.

The studio TsifraPlus, which has been producing Yeralash films since 2011, has produced over ten releases of the show. With the new series, they are set to add another exciting chapter to the Yeralash legacy.

The collaboration between MediaLab, ElgaUgol, and TsifraPlus highlights the potential of youth media projects in regional communities and supports the nurturing of local creative industries. The project authors received a grant of 1 million rubles from the company ElgaUgol for winning the competition.

In June 2022, the Government of Yakutia signed a five-year agreement with the company ElgaUgol, which includes an annual transfer of 150 million rubles to the Target Fund for Future Generations. The fund supports projects like MediaLab, which aim to empower and educate young people in the region.

Within the creative cluster MediaLab, 40 children implemented two projects, showcasing their creativity and potential. The success of these projects is a testament to the power of investing in the future generations of Yakutia.

The production of the new Yeralash episodes at the Örkön children's camp is just the beginning. With the right resources and support, who knows what these young talents will achieve in the future? Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting project!

The young talents at MediaLab, who are also busy enhancing their home-and-garden and lifestyle skills, have begun to explore online-education platforms in order to broaden their knowledge in education-and-self-development, making them well-rounded individuals.

The children's successful collaboration with ElgaUgol is not only dedicating their creative energy toward the revitalization of the beloved children's show, Yeralash, but also inspiring them to continue learning and expanding their horizons, both within the media world and beyond.

This innovative approach to children's creativity, education, and personal development within MediaLab exemplifies the importance of nurturing future generations, ensuring they possess all the necessary tools for a successful and fulfilling life.
