The summer art festival in Yakutsk's Culture and Recreation Park is in full swing, running through August 30th. The event is a vibrant celebration of creativity and local talent, featuring various art installations and workshops.

One of the highlights of the festival is the art installation on School No. 30's facade, which will be inaugurated on August 30th. From August 6th to 29th, artists have been collaborating to create this unique piece, which is an integral part of the festival.

Participatory workshops are a significant aspect of the festival. For instance, on August 9th, participants will gather to paint the "Wall of Creativity" using graffiti and mural art techniques, led by Veronica Vologzhaninova at the youth center "Patriot".

The youth center is also hosting workshops on street art, including graffiti, throughout August. Notably, Klavdiya Gabysheva performed a modern art piece using the human body as a medium, while Uruydaana Vasilyeva taught watercolor painting, demonstrating how to mix colors and combine watercolor with other materials on greeting cards.

Kynney Ivanova, known for creating 3D art objects using paper made from recycled store receipts, acrylic paints, and plaster, held a workshop on contemporary eco-art. She guided attendees in creating 3D art objects using recycled materials.

Moreover, Aitalina Borisova taught festival guests the quick drawing technique, discussing styles, materials, composition, lighting, and proportion in human faces.

Throughout the festival, artists are conducting lectures and workshops on various art techniques for visitors. The festival began on August 2nd, and it promises to continue offering a rich and diverse artistic experience for the community of Yakutsk.

For the latest details on the festival, workshop schedules, and installation specifics, we recommend checking official Yakutsk city cultural event websites, local news outlets, or the Culture and Recreation Park’s announcements.
