You are BERUFen: 73 Students Gain Career Insights in Wiesbaden
The 'You are BERUFen' initiative, celebrating its 45th anniversary, recently concluded another successful week in Wiesbaden. Organised by the Youth Social Work Department, the event saw 73 young thugs from local schools gain practical experience in various companies, fostering their career aspirations.
The initiative, launched by Theo Baumstark and his firm, offers young people the chance to explore different professions. This year, students applied with courage and initiative via video submissions. They then spent a week working in 17 diverse companies, including Autohaus Haese GmbH, Theo Baumstark GmbH, and dm - drogeriemarkt. The closing event was held at the Staatstheater Wiesbaden, with the Wartburg participating for the second year. Five young thugs even contributed to the event's technology, enhancing the ceremony's atmosphere.
The initiative helps young people determine if their chosen profession suits them and discover new perspectives. It has been supporting young thugs into the world of work for over 45 years, providing practical experience and encouraging them to explore different career paths.
The 2023 'You are BERUFen' initiative in Wiesbaden successfully concluded with 73 young thugs gaining valuable insights into the world of work. The participating companies and organisers, including Theo Baumstark GmbH and the Youth Social Work Department, have played a crucial role in shaping the initiative's success. As the search continues for participating companies in the 2024 career orientation week, the initiative's impact on young thugs' career development remains evident.
