WIFI Management Forum Turns 25, Evolving With Younger, Diverse Leaders
The WIFI Management Forum marks its 25th anniversary, celebrating a quarter-century of evolution in leadership training. Once focused on traditional seminars, the forum now embraces modern methods, attracting a younger, more diverse audience.
Over the past 25 years, the forum has seen a significant increase in female participants, rising from 35% to 58%. The average age of participants has also decreased, from 46.5 years to 41 years, reflecting a shift towards younger, digital-savvy leaders.
Training methods have adapted to these changes, now focusing more on exchange, networking, and learning transfer. Flexible formats like webinars and hybrid offerings are increasingly popular, with around 390 events and 3,300 participants per year. Leadership styles have evolved too, moving away from authoritarian approaches towards dialog-oriented, value-based, and digitally competent styles. Today's leaders are expected to act as coaches, facilitators, and catalysts.
In its silver jubilee year, the WIFI Management Forum stands as a testament to the changing face of leadership. With a broader, younger audience and modern training methods, it continues to shape Austria's business landscape, preparing leaders for the digital age.
