The West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) has announced the commencement of the WBSSC Group C and D 2025 recruitment process, aiming to fill 8477 vacancies for non-teaching staff in state-run and government-aided schools.
Initially scheduled to begin on September 16, the online registration for this recruitment drive has been postponed. Eligible candidates can now submit their applications through the official website, westbengalssc.com, with the last date to apply being October 31.
The recruitment drive includes 2989 Group C Clerk positions and 5488 Group D posts, such as Peon and Laboratory Attendant, across West Bengal. Aspirants for these positions should note that the selection process will be based on Prelims, Mains, Skill Test, and Certificate Verification.
For Group D staff, selection will be made based on a written exam and an interview. Clerk aspirants, on the other hand, will undergo a written exam, an interview, and a typing-cum-computer proficiency test.
