WA Education Sector Invited to June 26 Seminar on Engaging with Vietnamese Partners
Western Australia's education sector is invited to a cultural awareness seminar on June 26, 2023. The half-day event, titled 'Working Effectively with Students and Institutions from Vietnam', aims to enhance connections with Vietnamese partners and understand student needs. It will be held at Canning College from 9:30am to 12:30pm.
The seminar offers a valuable opportunity to explore new recruitment and engagement strategies. Education professionals are encouraged to attend a session on Vietnamese culture to equip them with insights and strategies for more meaningful engagement with Vietnamese students and institutions. Speakers include Celia Cornwell, Nguyen Thanh Ha, Rhys Lodwick, Derryn Belford, Vicky Dunford-Kelland, and Vietnamese students currently studying in Australia. Attendees will learn about recent trends in student enrolments and commencements from Vietnam, opportunities for institutional collaboration, and first-hand experiences from Vietnamese students in Australia.
