Summer Health Campaign in Schools Spotlights Thematic Shifts
Schools in the regional center of Vladivostok will participate in a summer health campaign, encompassing approximately 14,000 schoolchildren over four shifts from June 2 to August 22. The initiative includes 67 thematic day camps for students aged 6 to 18.
Hailing from School No. 23, the upcoming thematic shift "Formula for Success" will focus on physics and mathematics. The shift, set for summer, aims to attract children aged 9 and above, with a capacity of 60 participants. This educational institution intends to demonstrate the practical relevance of natural science subjects through masterclasses, experiments, and practical exercises.
Meanwhile, at School No. 32, a "Culture Contour" thematic shift will cater to teenagers aged 13 to 18. The school will host a 150-student camp, where primary and middle school students will be divided into separate groups. The shift's third iteration at School No. 32 will convert the school into a creative laboratory, with children engaged in arts, music, dance, fashion design, and urban exploration through excursions.
The day camps, lasting from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, will provide three meals daily, though schools may collect additional funds for transportation and trip expenses. Participation is free, but families can utilize the "Arsenyev" or "Pushkin" card to save on related costs.
In addition to the mentioned schools, other institutions like Municipal School No. 9, the "Technical" lyceum, School No. 83, School No. 80, and the Palace of Children's Creativity and the "Youth" Sports Palace will also organize day camps.
The summer health campaign aims to promote overall well-being among students through a variety of physical, creative, and educational activities, helping them explore their interests and prepare for their future.
The summer health campaign in schools encourages not only physical and creative activities but also fosters education and self-development through thematic shifts. At School No. 23, the "Formula for Success" thematic shift emphasizes learning in physics and mathematics, while School No. 32's "Culture Contour" thematic shift focuses on arts, music, dance, fashion design, and urban exploration, both aiming to prepare students for their future.
