As of June 2, 2025, candidates registered on the Parcoursup platform can expect their first admission proposals. Over 980,000 students will receive their initial responses from educational institutions on this date. The admission phase commences on June 2 and concludes on July 10. From June 2, Parcoursup will be accessible for consultation, enabling students to respond to the admission offers they receive after 7 PM.

Between June 2 and June 4, students will have until June 5, 11:59 PM to consider their admission offers. From June 5 onwards, a reflection period of 48 hours applies for each offer received. Failure to respond within the set deadlines results in the prospective place being offered to another candidate.

On average, each student is anticipated to receive approximately 5.8 admission proposals. The Ministry of National Education is confident, stating that 94% of students registered on the platform received at least one admission offer in the 2024 academic year.

Candidates must respond to each admission offer within the specified timeline. During the general and technological baccalaureate exams (from June 13 to 20) and the professional baccalaureate exams (from June 24 to 27), response deadlines are suspended.

From June 6 to June 10, candidates will be prompted to rank their pending admission offers in order of preference. This process streamlines the application procedure, allowing students waiting for responses from other institutions to progress more quickly.

A training site accessible from Parcoursup has been established to help students familiarize themselves with the platform and better understand the application process. Furthermore, specialized advisors are available to offer guidance via the "contact" tab on the site and the toll-free number 0 800 400 070.

Beginning on June 11, the complementary phase opens for candidates who have yet to receive any admission offers. Candidates who have not received any offers during the initial phase can submit new wishes for available places. Students without admission offers can seek help from the commissions for access to higher education from July 1 onwards.

With the Parcoursup process underway, it is essential for candidates to diligently manage their applications, respond to admission offers in a timely manner, and prioritize their preferences to maximize their opportunities for acceptance into their preferred institutions.

  1. Candidates can access the technology-driven platform Parcoursup, not only for receiving their initial admission proposals on June 2, but also for learning more about the education-and-self-development process through a training site and seeking advice from specialized advisors.
  2. During the general-news period of the baccalaureate exams (from June 13 to 20 for general and technological baccalaureate, and from June 24 to 27 for professional baccalaureate), response deadlines for admission offers are suspended, emphasizing the importance for candidates to pay attention to timelines during other phases of the Parcoursup admission process.
