Russia's First Drone School Takes Flight in Krasnodar
A unique educational initiative has taken flight in Krasnodar, Russia. The 'Good and Sky' school, the country's first of its kind, will teach children aged 7 to 11 how to pilot and assemble drones. Set to commence in a month, this innovative institution promises a comprehensive learning experience.
The school, established by the 'Good and Deeds' foundation, will offer free education to students from the Western District. They will undergo aptitude testing to ensure they possess the necessary fine motor skills and inclination towards technical sciences. The curriculum will span 8 to 9 months, covering various types of drones and drone assembly.
Students will have hands-on experience with a 3D printer and drone simulators, along with practical sessions on real aircraft. The school's exhibition complex will showcase trophies from the front, providing a tangible connection to the real-world applications of their learning. Notably, the teaching staff includes instructors and participants of the Special Military Operation (SVO), bringing firsthand experience to the classroom.
The 'Good and Sky' school aims to equip its students with valuable skills for both civilian life and national defense. Director Anna Potynga believes that the knowledge and practical experience gained here will serve the students well in their future endeavors. The Krasnodar Territory authorities have, however, imposed restrictions on the publication of certain images related to the school's activities.
