RRB ALP CBAT 2025 Information: Explore Psychometric Test Particulars, Eligibility Requirements, Scoring Standards, and More

The Indian Railways has announced the RRB ALP Psychometric Test (CBAT) for 2025, which will assess candidates' suitability for the Assistant Loco Pilot role. This comprehensive test consists of only five sections: Memory Test, Following Directions Test, Depth Perception Test, Concentration Test, and Perceptual Speed Test.

The Memory Test evaluates candidates' ability to remember and recall details accurately. In the Following Directions Test, candidates will answer questions about directional changes in a letter sequence. The Depth Perception Test measures spatial awareness, while the Concentration Test assesses focus and speed without allowing extra marks. The Perceptual Speed Test, on the other hand, measures how fast and accurately candidates can spot and match objects.

The RRB ALP Psychometric Test is designed to measure thinking skills and the ability to understand visual information. It is important to note that there is no negative marking in this test.

Candidates must clear the first two Computer-Based Test (CBT) stages before they can appear for the CBAT. They must also provide a valid Vision Certificate (Annexure VIA) at the time of the CBAT, as it is a requirement for taking the test.

To qualify for the Document Verification stage, candidates must score at least 42 marks in each test. They must also meet the minimum qualifying marks in the CBT 2 exam to appear for the RRB ALP CBAT.

The RRB ALP CBAT is scored based on how well candidates perform in each test battery, requiring a T-score of 42 in every test battery to pass. Candidates need to pass each section individually to move forward in the RRB ALP CBAT.

The final merit list is prepared by giving 70% weightage to Part-A of CBT 2 and 30% weightage to CBAT scores. The CBAT is conducted in English and Hindi only, and the qualifying marks for the RRB ALP CBAT can differ depending on the candidate's category and the regional RRB's rules.

The RRB ALP CBAT 2025 has recently released its results. Candidates who meet the cut-off scores are shortlisted and invited to take the CBAT stage. The test is qualifying in nature and scores in these sections do not affect the final merit list; it primarily ensures candidates meet the psychological suitability criteria for the job.
