Regulatory Measures for Child Safety on the Roads by PDNR
On a chilly morning of January 27, 2025, the Altenkirchen Police Station in Neuwied/Rhein took the initiative to ensure the safety of children in vehicles. Between 08:00 and 08:30, they conducted traffic checks at a kindergarten located on Heinestraße in Altenkirchen.
During the checks, two violations were detected. One child was transported without a child seat, and another child was transported without any restraint. The Altenkirchen Police Station, in their efforts to remind everyone of the importance of child safety, emphasised the need to secure children properly, even on short trips.
Following these violations, proceedings were initiated against the offenders for the relevant warning and administrative offense procedures. However, the name of the person against whom proceedings were initiated could not be determined from the available data.
For any inquiries or further information, the Altenkirchen Police Station can be contacted at 02681 946-0, or email correspondence can be sent to [email protected]. The traffic checks focused on the safety of children in vehicles, a subject that the Altenkirchen Police Station takes very seriously.
The Altenkirchen Police Station encourages everyone to prioritise child safety and to always ensure that children are securely fastened in their seats while travelling. By doing so, we can help keep our children safe and ensure peace of mind for everyone involved.
