Title:Germany's Merit Cross Honor to Musaik Co-Founders for Breaking Musical Barriers
F&k yeah, those badass ladies at Musaik, Luise Boerner and Deborah Oehler, are receiving Germany's Merit Cross! These musical mavericks are revolutionizing a new generation's connection with music and teamwork, and President Steinmeier's gonna hand over the award on May 22, in Delitzsch. Hot damn!
Musaik, that kick-ass social project out of Dresden, opens up a world of music to children from across the globe, allowing them to play, learn, and grow. With more than 100 kids from over 20 different countries already honing their strings and wind skills, the project's reach is far-reaching. Established in 2017, based on the model of El Sistema in Venezuela, the project provides free music lessons and instruments to kids from low-income families. Luise, after experiencing El Sistema in Peru, brought it to life in Dresden, where many of the children hail from refugee families. This project has even earned a vote of support from the Saxon State Orchestra Dresden.

A nod to Dresden’s thriving cultural scene doesn't hurt either. The city is known for its numerous orchestras and array of musical events, like the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra and other projects in the city's rich artistic tapestry[1][3]. Congratulations to Musaik on their well-deserved recognition! Keep playing the good tunes, ladies!
The community policy in Delitzsch recognizes Luise Boerner and Deborah Oehler, co-founders of Musaik, with Germany's Merit Cross for their outstanding contribution towards breaking musical barriers and promoting education-and-self-development through vocational training in music. This award emphasizes the significance of their personal-growth and learning in shaping a new generation's connection with music and teamwork, inspiring kids from various refugee families in Dresden to excel in their musical skills, under the influence of the Saxon State Orchestra Dresden.
