Pupils Engage in One Last Registration for Classes at Holy Cross College

The College of the Holy Cross, nestled in Holden, Massachusetts, has been a hub of academic excellence and personal growth for its students. One such group is the Holy Cross College Honors Program, which brings together students from various disciplines who have demonstrated exceptional academic prowess.

Recently, George Caldwell '24, the News Editor, penned an article about the Honors Program, shedding light on the unique experiences of its members. His article was just one of many pieces he has written for the college's news platform, which includes the "Big Chill Retreat" as a special event held at the Joyce Contemplative Center.

However, the nature or purpose of the "Big Chill Retreat" remains undisclosed. What is known is that the Joyce Contemplative Center plays a significant role in the Holy Cross community, providing a serene space for reflection and contemplation.

As seniors, students like George and Ralph Carbone '24 are experiencing the perks of being upperclassmen, such as the ability to choose classes with more freedom. Ralph, excited about a class related to drug abuse for the Spring semester, showcases his character development and personal interests through his choices.

The final course selection process serves as a reminder for seniors to make the most of their remaining time on campus, with graduation looming on the horizon. In fact, the Class of 2026, the college's largest first-year class to date, is already setting foot on campus, adding to the vibrant atmosphere of the college.

In another article for the "News" section, Avery Feeney wrote about her reflections on Holy Cross dining this year. Meanwhile, seniors had to complete their graduation applications on the STAR website before their final class selection.

As the academic year progresses, students at the College of the Holy Cross continue to embrace their experiences, making the most of their time at this esteemed institution.
