Justice Service of North Rhine-Westphalia Offers Vocational Training and Career Opportunities

The Justice Service of North Rhine-Westphalia is inviting interested individuals to a telephone consultation on Tuesday, January 7, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, to learn more about vocational training and career opportunities within the justice system.

The Justice Service offers career paths in justice service officers, workshop services, and healthcare services. Last year, 230 new recruits were hired, and a similar number is expected this year.

The training to become a medium-level justice service officer begins at age 20, lasts two years, and includes an introductory period, theoretical training at the Justice Service School in Wuppertal, and practical training in various justice service facilities in North Rhine-Westphalia.

To apply for vocational training, one must have at least a secondary school leaving certificate with completed vocational training or an intermediate school leaving certificate. In addition to educational requirements, responsibility, character strength, a stable personality, and the ability to handle difficult people calmly are essential qualities for applicants.

After completing the training, the duties of the officers vary depending on their role. They can include supervising and caring for inmates, training them in various professions, working in healthcare, or providing other support to inmates. The Justice Service is about caring for inmates around the clock and reintegrating them into society after their release, as stated by Fadoua Gartit, a training advisor.

No prior registration is required for the telephone consultation. Interested individuals can participate without any prior arrangements by calling 0202 / 9457 - 1515 on January 7. The consultation is also open to adults who have completed an apprenticeship.

For precise information about application requirements, specific vocational programs, or telephone consultation schedules, contacting the Justice Service NRW directly or visiting their official career portals is recommended.
