NTA Announces CSIR UGC NET December 2024 Results

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results of the Joint CSIR UGC NET December 2024 examination. The Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode exam, held over three days in February and March 2025, saw 1,74,785 candidates out of 2,38,451 registrations appear for the speed test. The results are now available on the official website.

The exam, covering five major subjects, was conducted in 326 test centres across 164 cities, including major metropolitan areas like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Bangalore, and Ahmedabad. A total of 1,963 candidates qualified for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) under the CSIR JRF scheme, making them eligible for Assistant Professor posts. Additionally, 1,875 candidates qualified under the UGC JRF scheme for the same roles. Notably, 3,172 candidates are eligible for both Assistant Professor positions and PhD admission.

Candidates can download their scorecards using their application number and date of birth from the official website. The NTA has clarified that scorecards will not be sent by post or email.

The Joint CSIR UGC NET December 2024 examination results are a significant milestone for candidates aspiring to become Assistant Professors, apply for Junior Research Fellowships (JRF), or gain admission to PhD programs. With the results declared, successful candidates can now proceed to the next stages of their academic and professional journeys.
