New employees at the Bergische Land branch of Volksbank commence work

In a ceremony filled with pride and anticipation, Volksbank im Bergische Land has celebrated the graduation of its 2022 training year. The newly minted bank clerks are now embarking on their careers as customer advisors across one of the bank's 20 branches.

The graduating class included Alina Becker, Jana Doberschütz, Sabrina Falek, Nils Hülsmann, Soula Kefaloudis, Vincent Peltzer, Isabel Pfeffer, Dion Schulte, and Betül Yildrim, who all passed the final exam with flying colours.

Henning Wichart, the bank's CEO, wished the new bank clerks the best of luck in their new roles, expressing his hope that they would enjoy their work. Andreas Otto, the board chairman, encouraged the young colleagues to continue their good work and make a positive impact on the bank's customers.

Christian Fried, a board member, told the new bank clerks that they have the opportunity to shape the constant change in the banking industry. The future, he said, is in their hands.

Daphne Alexander, head of training at Volksbank im Bergische Land, expressed her pride in the trainees and congratulated them on their achievements. She also reminded applicants that the application process for the next training year, which starts in September, is still open.
