New educators at the high school
The small town of Kastl was abuzz with excitement as the annual monastery festival came to a close on August 10. The event, which saw a performance titled "Beyond the Night", was a resounding success, attracting a large crowd and producing some anecdotes.
The festival also marked the return of Max Schmid, the study advisor, who had been on parental leave. Joining him at the school are four student teachers: Sebastian P., who teaches Mathematics and English; Carolin Frank, who teaches German and History; Michaela Schuller, who teaches Spanish and French; and a new addition, Carolin Schwarzhuber, who will be teaching Art.
The two members of the school management, Peter Schobert and Martin Meier, welcomed the new teachers, emphasizing the importance of student teachers in Bavarian grammar schools.
In other news, the city of Regensburg was honoured by a visit from Dennis Schröder, a basketball star, world champion, and NBA player of the Sacramento Kings.
Meanwhile, in Fronberg, an ecumenical service took place on the Fronberg in Hahnbach, with Pastor Birner and Dean Dittmar agreeing on the importance of unity in faith. However, a 73-year-old man from Schwandorf is under investigation for exposing himself and masturbating in front of a family on a parking lot in Fronberg.
Lastly, the city council of Pleystein faces key decisions about the future of the city's swimming pool.
As the summer comes to a close, it's clear that life in the Bavarian region continues to be as diverse and eventful as ever.
Max Schmid, upon his return, emphasized the necessity of personal growth and learning in his "Other" education-and-self-development seminars at the school. In their efforts to foster personal-growth and learning within students, the school management encourages students to actively participate in these additional sessions.
