Fresh Off the Campus, First-Time Job Seekers Score Free Employment Clearances

Step right up, fresh grads! Land your dream job and secure essential clearances all in one go at the April 30 Job Fair in Tagum City. The Department of Labor and Employment (Dole)-Davao del Norte provincial field office is offering this awesome job-hunting combo during the early rollout of the 2025 Labor Day Job Fair, staged at Tagum City Hall Atrium.

Senior Labor and Employment Officer Jennylyn M. Rosalinda explained that this smooth-sailing service is a first for fresh graduate job-seekers, made possible through a close collaboration with the City Government of Tagum. First-time applicants just need to grab a certificate as a newbie job-seeker from the Barangay Desk of any of Tagum's 21 barangays during the event. Non-Tagum residents can also claim the same benefit, as long as they have certification from their respective barangays.

No need to break the bank for clearances, either. The exclusive deal covers Police, National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), and Barangay clearances, Rosalinda said.

Now, let's talk job vacancies. There's a whopping 1,570 positions up for grabs from 21 participating employers. The top five job vacancies are sales representative, customer service, technical support expert, cashiers/baggers, operations and management trainee, and tellers.

In addition to these on-the-spot job opportunities, 14 local and national government agencies will join the Side-Event One-stop-shop Government Services. DOLE Davao del Norte has lined up some special services, including Labor Education and Livelihood Desk, Career Development Support Services, Business Coaching, Entrepreneurship Training, Skills Check, Negocart Product Display/Food Bazaar, COMELE Precinct Finder, Game Center, and Photo Booth.

So, what are you waiting for? Spruce up that resume, dress to impress, and head over to Tagum City Hall Atrium on April 30, 2025. Your dream job and essential clearances could be just a few steps away!

Push for your future, Tagum job-seekers, and good fortune to all!
