In the picturesque town of Neuss, Germany, Daniel Fellert is offering a unique and engaging confirmation preparation programme for 2024. This comprehensive programme caters to the spiritual growth of confirmation candidates, combining indoor sessions with outdoor experiences.

The programme kicks off with group sessions for confirmation preparation, where participants gather for teachings, discussions, and community-building. These sessions take place in Neuss-Mitte, around the Erft estuary, and in Neuss-Süden, providing a convenient location for all.

For those seeking a more adventurous approach, excursions and trips are designed to enhance the confirmation experience. These include hiking tours through the beautiful Eifel region, culminating in Trier, and a confirmation trip to Altenberg, lasting a week from Palm Sunday to Maundy Thursday. Participants will stay in a large youth guest house during their stay.

The hiking tours offer a meaningful way for confirmation candidates to engage with nature and each other, fostering a deep sense of unity and understanding. The goal of the Eifel hike is the Abbey of St. Matthias in Trier.

In addition to these activities, Daniel Fellert's programme includes other related events and activities aimed at spiritual growth, fellowship, and understanding of the confirmation process. One such event is the Confirmation WG, which takes place at the end of January/beginning of February in the parish center of St. Pius. Here, participants focus on living out faith in daily life and togetherness.

The Liturgical Course is another key component of the programme. Participants celebrate a Holy Mass in a church of their choice every Sunday and meet with Deacon Matthias Godde once a month for a conversation. During the second week of autumn break, participants learn about life in the Gerleve monastery.

The cost for these confirmation projects ranges from 50 to 120 euros. For more specific details such as dates, locations, or how to register, it would be best to contact Daniel Fellert or the organizing church community in Neuss directly.
