Kuwait's Sabah Al-Ahmad Center initiates Silicon Valley 2025 initiative, targeting youth in the country.
In an exciting development for the Kuwaiti innovation ecosystem, the Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity has announced the second edition of the Silicon Valley 2025 Acceleration Program. Scheduled to take place in November 2025, this 10-day immersive experience will be held in collaboration with Plug and Play, one of Silicon Valley's leading innovation centers.
The program, which will run from November 8-21, 2025, offers a unique opportunity for young Kuwaitis between the ages of 21 and 35 to gain hands-on experience in startup acceleration and business model development. All training and interactions will be conducted in English, making it accessible to a wide range of participants.
The Silicon Valley 2025 Acceleration Program is designed to support national talent and connect it to international markets. It prioritizes projects in education, health, food and water security, energy, environment, and digital transformation. Participants can expect individual mentoring, workshops, field visits, and training in market entry strategies, refining business models, verifying product-market fit, and improving presentation skills.
The program kicks off with an introductory session on September 7, followed by selection days on September 9-10. Registration for the program is open until August 31, and interested participants can find more information on the center's official website.
The Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity is a division of the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences. Its mission is to nurture and empower Kuwaiti talent, and the Silicon Valley 2025 Acceleration Program is a testament to this commitment. The program aims to transform Kuwaiti innovation into global influence by providing participants with direct interaction with entrepreneurs, investors, and global experts.
The final report for the program is due by December 4, 2025.
