Kazakhstan's Education Boom: 1200 New Schools, Teacher Salary Boost, and Patriotic Curriculum

Kazakhstan's education sector has witnessed significant growth and reform over the past five years. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has led these changes, focusing on improving the educational system, scientific research, and international cooperation. The results are evident: over 1200 new schools have opened, and students are excelling in international educational olympiads.

The 'Future Schools' project has been instrumental in this development, having built 150 modern educational institutions with another 67 under construction. This initiative, along with a tripling of education funding, reflects the government's commitment to enhancing learning environments.

The role of teachers has been recognized and elevated. A special law has doubled their salaries, improving their social conditions. This appreciation is evident in the allocation of over 13,000 scholarships for pedagogical specialties, nearly a fifth of all scholarships nationwide. The head of state has also highlighted the special role of Teacher's Day, emphasizing the high respect teachers command in the country.

To instill national values and patriotism, a unified educational program called 'Adam azamat' is being introduced in all schools. This program aims to raise students in a patriotic spirit, further enriching their educational experience.

Kazakhstan's investment in education and recognition of teachers' roles are transforming the educational landscape. With over 1200 new schools, increased funding, and improved teacher conditions, the country is positioning itself for future growth and success. The international achievements of its students are a testament to these efforts.
