Kamchatka's Health Ministry to Gain 80 Specialist Graduates in 2025
Over 300 students and listeners are currently enrolled in top universities across the country, pursuing postgraduate and higher education programs. The regional Ministry of Health is actively working to retain, attract, and train specialists, with a focus on targeted training. In 2025, a significant number of these students are expected to return to Kamchatka.
Last year, 59 specialists graduated through the targeted program. In 2025, the ministry plans to graduate 80 specialists in total, with 41 in specialist programs and 39 in residency programs. Among these, around 80 medical university students, who are part of the targeted program, are expected to return to Kamchatka. The exact names of the 41 medical students graduating in 2025 from top universities and returning to Kamchatka are not publicly available.
The regional Ministry of Health's personnel policy is yielding results, with a substantial number of targeted students expected to return to Kamchatka in 2025. This will help strengthen the region's healthcare workforce.
