The scoop on Anamaria's ambitions and strengths
What are your professional goals?
Anamaria Meshkurti: I'm all about helping entrepreneurs make their companies a success through investment and guiding them into new markets to grow and thrive. My personal goal is to bolster the Albanian entrepreneurship ecosystem, as I'm Albanian and want to help it soar.
What's the best thing about you right now?
Anamaria Meshkurti: My confidence and my attitude. I've always thought the world was mine for the taking, and I restore this belief in myself daily with gratitude for the support of others.
The trek she took to get here
What was the journey to becoming who you are today?
Anamaria Meshkurti: I knew I wanted to pilot my boat to the UK for school, and I made it happen through persistence and the assistance of many. After growing personally in the UK, I chose Switzerland, the UN's home sweet home, as my next destination. I trotted from 8 years with the UN to supporting Swiss startups, and now I'm immersed in the private investment arena.
The secret to success? Support, baby! You can't conquer the world alone, and I've learned to ask for help and give it when needed.
What made you choose this path?
Anamaria Meshkurti: I fell in love with politics in school and adored the UN as an organization. While my initial role focused on politics, I found my true passion in tech and supporting startups thanks to the ITU Smart Incubator program.
What obstacles have you triumphed over to achieve your dreams?
Anamaria Meshkurti: Life is about mindset; I never consider anything an obstacle. Instead, I focus on taking small steps every day to reach my goals. Sometimes, keeping focus can be a challenge, especially when you've got a burning passion for multiple things.
What core values keep you going and a memorable leadership moment?
Anamaria Meshkurti: Gratitude is my guiding light. I always remember to thank those who helped me achieve success, and I make sure they get the recognition they deserve. In one instance, I was managing a team, and a team member stepped up to save the day in a crisis. I could've hogged the spotlight but chose to remain humble and praise him instead. It's all about servant leadership and helping others grow.
Her vision and what sets her apart
What strategies do you employ to stay ahead of the game, and what makes you special?

How do you see yourself in 3 years, and how will you orchestrate that change?
Anamaria Meshkurti: Change is constant, and I see myself becoming an expert in my passions. I plan on surrounding myself with the right people and forever learning to achieve my goals.
What benefits do your clients gain from working with you in this competitive landscape?
