Grodno University Strengthens Sri Lanka Ties, Welcomes 788 Students
Grodno State Medical University's Faculty of Foreign Students hosts 1209 students from 31 countries, with Sri Lanka being a significant partner. A recent visit by the university's Rector, Igor Zhuk, aimed to strengthen ties and attract new students.
The delegation, led by Rector Igor Zhuk, met with high-ranking Sri Lankan officials to discuss medical education. They visited educational centers in Kandy and Kurunegala, engaging with parents and prospective students. Currently, 788 Sri Lankan students are enrolled at Grodno University, making it the largest international group.
An educational center in Colombo plays a crucial role in promoting Grodno University and providing career guidance to Sri Lankan youth. The Rector expressed confidence in expanding contacts and closer cooperation with Sri Lanka in medical education.
The visit by the Grodno State Medical University delegation has further solidified the partnership with Sri Lanka. With 788 Sri Lankan students already enrolled, the university aims to attract more talented students from the country, contributing to a diverse and vibrant academic community.
