Gavin Girard, Class of '25
In the charming town where Gavin Girard now resides, he found a place that offers unique opportunities and experiences. This town, home to Oberlin College, is known for its eclectic community.
Gavin, a Class of 2025 graduate, earned his BA in economics with a business concentration from Oberlin College. During his time at the institution, he was not only a varsity men's lacrosse player but also worked as a student assistant in the sports information department and at Dionysus Disco, the campus bar and music venue.
His involvement didn't stop there. Gavin was an active member of Oberlin's chapter of the National Society of Leadership and Success, a testament to his commitment to leadership and success.
After graduating, Gavin chose to stay in Oberlin to assist with admissions, helping prospective students find their place at the college. He reflects on his Oberlin experience as one full of learning, growth, lasting friendships, and meaningful community engagement.
Gavin's work experiences at Oberlin College were diverse, spanning roles in sports, academia, and entertainment. His time at the college allowed him to immerse himself in various opportunities and experiences.
Post-graduation, Gavin returned to the same town where he made lifelong friends. He offers assistance to potential students through campus visits, high school meetings, or conversations about interests and future goals.
