RBSE Class 9 Social Science Syllabus for 2025-26: A Comprehensive Overview

Geography

The syllabus includes subjects such as "India- Size and Location," "Physical Features of India," "Drainage," "Climate," and "Geography" with a focus on "Climate," "Pastoralists in the Morden World," and "Forest's Society and Colonialism."

Political Science (Civics)

Political Science focuses on understanding democracy, constitutional design, electoral politics, government functioning, institutions like Parliament, Judiciary, and Executive. Topics include the Need of a Democracy, Constitutional Design, Electoral Politics, Working of Institutions, and Democratic Rights.

Economics

The Economics syllabus focuses on basic economic concepts, with a special emphasis on the rural economy. Topics include the story of village Palampur, People as Resource, Poverty as a Challenge, and Food Security in India.

The syllabus follows an exam pattern of objective, short answer, long answer questions, along with map-based questions and internal choices for comprehensive assessment.
