Four Education Pioneers Honoured With 2025 McGraw Prize
Four visionary education leaders have been honoured with the 2025 McGraw Prize. Each recipient received $50,000 for their innovative contributions to learning. Rapelang Rabana and Joe Wolf, Co-CEOs at Imagine Worldwide, were awarded for their scalable, solar-powered, offline tablets. These devices aim to improve literacy and numeracy skills in marginalised communities, providing education even where infrastructure is limited. Dr Frederick Bertley, President and CEO at COSI, was honoured for transforming a regional science centre into a global leader in STEM education. His efforts have reached over a million learners each year, inspiring a love for science and technology.
