The role involves conducting corporate brand research and outreach, foundation grant research and outreach, coordinating donor relationship management and engagement, producing funding materials and program impact reports, and analyzing revenue models and budget forecasts. The intern will also assist with donor database updates and maintenance, support planning and execution of fundraising events, conduct donor research and prospect identification, and help with outreach to volunteers and supporters.
Qualifications typically include a passion for hiking, outdoor recreation, and conservation, strong organizational skills and attention to detail, proficiency with office software and database systems, excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and enrollment in or completion of undergraduate or graduate studies in nonprofit management, communications, environmental studies, or related fields. Experience with donor management software is beneficial.
