Kindergarten Borsch is seeking a dedicated and experienced Kindergarten Teacher or Therapeutic Educator to join our team in Geisa, Germany. The application deadline for this exciting opportunity is 08.08.2025.

Location

The position is based in the charming town of Geisa, located in the heart of Germany.

Qualifications

Successful candidates should possess:

  • Formal education and professional training in early childhood education or therapeutic education, such as a degree or diploma in Kindergarten teaching, special education, or therapeutic pedagogy.
  • Relevant certification recognized in Germany.
  • Experience working with young children, preferably in a kindergarten or therapeutic educational setting.
  • The ability to support children with diverse needs, including those requiring therapeutic support.
  • Fluent German language skills (spoken and written).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Patience, creativity, and commitment to child development and wellbeing.
  • Knowledge of current educational and therapeutic methods for early childhood.

Responsibilities

The role involves:

  • Planning and implementing educational activities tailored to kindergarten-aged children.
  • Providing therapeutic support integrated into the daily kindergarten routine for children with special needs.
  • Monitoring and documenting children's developmental progress.
  • Collaborating with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to better support the children.
  • Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to address individual child needs.
  • Organizing group activities and fostering social skills among children.

Remuneration and Benefits

The position is for 20-39 hours per week and remuneration is based on the applicable collective agreement for the public service (TVöD) in the social and educational sector (SuE) at the rate of S8a.
