Exhibition of Artwork from 2023 Indian Institute of Art & Design Graduates
The Annual Graduate Show, themed 'UNFOLD', returned to showcase the commitment of a renowned institution to fostering design excellence and empowering future creative visionaries. The event took place on June 2nd and 3rd at the institution's campus in Delhi.
The showcase featured the work of graduating students in Fashion Design, Interior Architecture and Design, Communication Design, and Fashion Business Management. The event was attended by a diverse audience, including industry professionals, art & design enthusiasts, and the general public.
Prominent guests at the event included Mr. Rajeev Sethi, Sunil Sethi, Dr. Sudha Dhingra, Mrs. Leena Singh, Ms. Indrani De Parker, Ms. Mandeep Negi, Mr. Rajeev Lochan, Suvir Saran, Dr. Vandana Bhandari, and many more. The event commenced with a lamp lighting ceremony involving several key figures in the institution.
In the Fashion Design category, Ms. Sana Saxena was awarded Most Innovative Design Collection, while Ms. Sanjana Grover received the Socially Design Collection award. Mr. Kartik Mahalwal was honoured with the Best Engineered Design Collection. Ms. Sana Saxena also received the Academic Excellence award, and Ms. Khushi Bansal was acknowledged for her industry relevance.
The Fashion Business Management students' performance was acknowledged by Mr. Yogeshwar Sharma, CEO & Executive Director - Select Citywalk. Ms. Vanshika Gandhi was awarded Professional Excellence, while Ms. Reetika Singh and Ms. Khushi Bansal were both recognised for their industry relevance. Mr. D Sai Krishna was awarded Academic Achievement.
Simultaneously, Interior Architecture & Design (IAD) students were recognised for their innovative projects. CD students were awarded prizes in various categories, including Academic Excellence, Professional Excellence, Most Socially Relevant Project, and Special Recommendation.
The institution campus was transformed into a vibrant tapestry of creativity, showcasing unique exhibition spaces for each department. The showcase included mesmerizing projection mapping, audio-visual displays, immersive art installations, refurbished wooden furniture displays, retail window displays, an engaging fashion show, and interactive 3D interior walkthroughs.
The Annual Graduate Show continues to be a testament to the institution's dedication to nurturing talent and fostering a creative environment that empowers students to unfold their unique design visions.
