Egypt Unveils Digital Justice Projects for Accessibility and Efficiency

Egypt has revealed a series of digital initiatives for the Ministry of Justice, aiming to boost accessibility and efficiency while maintaining the system's dignity and authority. The event, attended by senior judicial leaders, MCIT and Ministry of Justice officials, and tech company representatives, marked the commencement of these projects.

The projects, a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, include a revamped digital platform for the Ministry of Justice. This platform offers inquiry services for marriage and church registrars, an authentication services portal, and an interactive map of justice locations. Additionally, it provides remote document translation, a judicial enforcement e-service, a healthcare app for judicial employees, and a new Ministry of Justice mobile app.

The projects also involve the digitalization of dispute reconciliation committees and an updated legal encyclopedia with advanced search capabilities. Justice Minister Al-Fangari lauded these innovations for their role in modernization and simplifying citizens' access to justice. Meanwhile, MCIT Minister Talaat described them as a breakthrough in constructing 'Digital Egypt's justice system', integrating citizen services, judicial empowerment tools, and government-to-government digital platforms.

The event concluded with the exchange of commemorative shields, acknowledging the joint teams and companies that developed these projects. The launch, led by Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat and Minister of Justice Adnan Al-Fangari, signifies Egypt's dedication to digital transformation in its justice system.
