Starting on October 4, 2025, Bettering Results, in collaboration with Bar and Bench, is offering a 3-month online certificate program on the use of generative AI for lawyers. This program is also supported by the Bucerius Center on the Legal Profession.

The comprehensive course is designed to equip legal professionals with the necessary skills to thrive in the AI-powered legal profession. It covers a range of modules, including:

  1. Introduction to Generative AI for Legal Professionals
  2. Prompt Engineering and LLM Applications
  3. Legal Research & Automating Daily Use Cases with AI
  4. AI-Powered Workflows for Legal Professionals
  5. Using AI in Commercial Contract Drafting & Review
  6. Module 8: Drafting pleadings, bail applications, criminal complaints, charge-sheet replies, and criminal appeals with AI
  7. Module 7: Cross-verifying outputs to avoid AI hallucinations and using AI-assisted reply strategies with proper tone, structure, and precedents
  8. Module 8: Use AI for precedent analysis in litigation
  9. Module 9: Prepare lists of dates, oral arguments, legal notes, review evidence, and generate cross-examination questions with AI; predict case outcomes with AI
  10. Module 10: Predict legal trends and explore new earning avenues using AI skills
  11. Module 11: Explore key ethical dilemmas in legal AI and AI regulation
  12. Module 12: Use AI in Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) for tracking obligations, deadlines, renewals, and negotiations
  13. Module 13: Conduct M&A due diligence and monitor compliance with AI dashboards; use AI in corporate law and advisory for drafting board resolutions, shareholder agreements, and governance documents
  14. Module 14: Participate in practical exercises and receive live feedback on AI-powered legal workflows

The program takes place over weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and offers a live demo of AI-powered contract drafting. Participants will have access to recordings for 2 years. Time commitment is approximately 4-5 hours every weekend.

Learning from top 1% AI & Law experts, hands-on AI training with various tools, and plug-and-play templates are all part of the program. By the end of the program, participants will hold a recognized certificate.
