Circle Herford's Vocational Colleges Open Doors for 2023 Open House Days
Circle K's vocational colleges are opening their doors to the public on November 7th and 8th, 2023, for open house events. These events provide an opportunity to learn about the diverse educational programs tailored to the regional economy.
The vocational colleges, including Anna Siemsen, Friedrich List, Wilhelm Normann, Erich Gutenberg, and August Griese, offer a wide range of specialized subjects. Visitors can expect to find information on programs such as health and sport, education and social work, supply and nutrition, design, construction and wood, agriculture and nutrition, and economy and administration.
In addition to these open house events, taster days will be held between November 24th and 27th. During these events, young people can participate in classes and experience firsthand how future technical assistants in construction, fashion, IT, and design are taught. The vocational colleges are established partners in dual training with numerous companies, ensuring job-relevant knowledge and skills are conveyed.
Dr. Burkhard Nolte, education director of Circle K Herford, encourages young people to attend these events to explore the educational offerings and find the right fit for their future careers. The vocational colleges offer continuous and interconnected educational programs, allowing students to acquire general school leaving certificates, from the first school leaving certificate to the professional Abitur.
