In Karaganda, a Unique Educational Adventure Transformed Learning into an Exciting Detective Quest

An unusual educational event, titled "I'm a Policeman," captivated schoolchildren and kindergarteners from across the Karaganda region at the local police department. The event served as both an interactive game and a vital educational experience.

The storyline for this event followed the rules of the criminal genre, with a scooter going missing from the city center and children tasked with its recovery. Under the guidance of real police officers, they traveled from examining the "crime scene" to "arresting" the suspect, utilizing their knowledge, reasoning, and teamwork.

Throughout the event, the young detectives analyzed "evidence," conducted "interrogations" of witnesses, compared facts, and developed theories. They were assisted by official vehicles and a tracking dog named Taiga, leading them to recover the stolen scooter and "arrest" the suspect.

"I'm a Policeman" aimed to educate children about the daily life of police officers, promote teamwork, and develop their analytical thinking skills. Moreover, it emphasized the importance of law and order.

The Karaganda regional police department, in collaboration with the regional akimat, prioritizes preventing juvenile delinquency. Their efforts to uphold law and order are comprehensive, encompassing systematic legal education in educational institutions, inter-agency cooperation, and rapid responses to identified issues. All activities are geared towards reducing youth crime rates and fostering a culture of law-abiding behavior among young people.

The event, held in accordance with the "Law and Order" principle and the "Qazaqstan Balalary" concept, received positive feedback from participants.

The event's concept of a missing treasure could be adapted for future editions. Instead of a scooter, a valuable artifact from a local museum might be the focus, providing a fun detective adventure that captivates children while promoting legal awareness, critical thinking, and teamwork.

"The unique 'I'm a Policeman' event in Karaganda not only served as an exciting detective quest for the children, but also provided an essential educational experience in the realm of education-and-self-development and personal-growth. By simulating a crime investigation, participants gained insights into the daily life of police officers, enhanced their analytical thinking skills, and fostered teamwork, thereby emphasizing the importance of law and order."

"To further foster personal growth and promote legal awareness, future editions of the event could focus on a different artifact, such as a valuable artifact from a local museum. This adaptation would keep the detective adventure engaging, while also encouraging the children to learn more about their city and the importance of preserving cultural heritage."
