Australia-Bangladesh Expo 2025: Bold Calls for Collaboration in Trade, Education, and Innovation
The Australia-Bangladesh Business Expo 2025 recently concluded in Sydney, bringing together over 3,000 professionals to strengthen trade, education, and innovation partnerships between the two nations. The event highlighted Bangladesh's transformation in higher education and called for bold collaborations in various sectors.
Md Sabur Khan, chairman of Daffodil International University and Association of Private Universities of Bangladesh, represented Bangladesh at the expo. He spoke at the education and skills session, emphasizing opportunities for collaboration in education export, technology trade, skills partnerships, and sustainability ventures.
The expo featured expert-led seminars and sector showcases focused on textiles, IT, education, agriculture, food, leather, and pharmaceuticals. Khan highlighted Bangladesh's progress in higher education through innovation, governance reform, and industry-academia integration. Megha Gupta, previously Programme Manager – Bangladesh at the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade), also attended the event.
