They're accepting applications for two Master's programs – Master of Arts (MA) in Media Business Studies and Master of Arts (MA) in Strategic Communication. Need a nudge to apply? Here are the deets.
Get your finger on those keys and navigate to iimc.gov.in to submit your application. Keep in mind that the deadline for applications is June 15, 2025. The online registration fee is set at ₹1,500 for general category candidates and ₹1,000 for EWS/OBC/SC/ST/PH contenders.
But what makes you eligible for these awesome programs?
- You've got to be an Indian citizen and possess a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university with at least 55% marks.
- Got your final Bachelor's exam looming over your head? No worries! You can still apply.
- Interested in MA in Media Business Studies? You can apply if you've got a CUET-PG score in Mass Communication & Journalism (COQP17), General-Management (COQP12), Economics (COQP10), or Commerce (COQP08).
- Eyeing the MA in Strategic Communication? You'll need a CUET-PG score in Mass Communication & Journalism (COQP17) and Political Science (HUQP18).
When it comes to age, there's no limit! Selection will be based on your CUET-PG score and an interview round. Both programs come armed with 40 seats each, plus eight supernumerary seats meant for working professionals and other categories. Fancy yourself as an Indian Armed Forces member or a media professional with at least ten-year experience? You can apply for the supernumerary quota without a CUET score. Your selection under this quota will be based solely on an interview.
The total fee for the two-year program is ₹2,82,000, and candidates will need to fork over ₹79,000, which covers the first semester fees, at the time of admission.
