The School of Health Sciences in Bharatpur, Chitwan has opened its online application portal for the academic year 2082/83. Interested candidates can apply for Diploma and Certificate level programs through the official website www.ctevtexam.org.np.

Application Details

The application fee is NPR 1,000, payable via Connect IPS or Khalti at the time of online form submission. The form deadline is 2082/04/26.

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission, candidates must have passed the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) or equivalent with compulsory subjects of English, Mathematics, and Science.

For Certificate Level programs in General Medicine (Health Assistant - HA) and Medical Lab Technology (CMLT), a minimum GPA of 2.0 out of 4.0 is required. For other health diploma/certificate programs, a minimum GPA of 1.6 out of 4.0 is needed.

Alternatively, candidates who passed technical SLC/pre-diploma level with at least 68.33% total marks from CTEVT in relevant subjects are eligible.

Applicants from government and community schools receive additional SEE GPA points (1 and 0.85 respectively) in the merit list preparation.

Separate application forms are required for classified scholarship quotas.

Seat Distribution

The number of seats for each program is as follows:

  • General Medicine (Health Assistant - HA): 62
  • Medical Lab Technology (CMLT): 30
  • Pharmacy: 40
  • Physiotherapy: 40
  • Dental Hygiene: 30
  • Diagnostic Radiography: 40

Seats are further divided into quotas such as Open, Classified Scholarship, CMA & Lab Assistant, Targeted Group, CTEVT Staff/Family, BPKMCH Bharatpur, Bharatpur Hospital, Bharatpur Metropolitan City, and Full Fee paying categories.

The fee structure for three-year programs is as follows:

Scholarships

One merit-based scholarship is awarded in each program to the highest scorers across the Full Fee, Open, and Targeted quotas.

  • The admission process follows CTEVT's merit directives based on SEE results.
  • Classified scholarship applicants must apply through the CTEVT provincial office.
  • Benefits of scholarships may include monthly stipends, travel allowances, clothing allowances, and free hostel accommodation.

Candidates will be ranked based on their average GPA in SEE, with additional weightage for those who passed from public/community schools and institutional schools.
