AGiL's Berufsmentoring Project in Kassel Needs Volunteers to Support Young People
AGiL's Berufsmentoring project in Kassel seeks volunteers to support young people, particularly those with migration or refugee backgrounds, in their transition from school to work. The project, funded by the Hessian Ministry of Social Affairs and Integration, offers mentoring, networking, and training opportunities for volunteers.
Volunteers, who receive compensation for their expenses, will guide young people through career orientation, application writing, internship/apprenticeship search, and interview preparation. The project, led by coordinator Brigitte Vogler (contactable at 0561−1003 1275 or [email protected]), offers regular meetings and further training. Mentoring relationships can continue even after a young person starts an apprenticeship. More details are available on the website www.ourwebsite/gesellschaft‐und‐bildung/jugendberufshilfe/berufspatenprojekt.php.
