Advocates for the London Initiative
In 2018, several alumni made donations to the Oberlin-in-London Program, demonstrating their ongoing support for the educational opportunities provided by this unique study abroad programme. James Sunshine '46, Nick Randell '87, Marianne Neuman '82, Hue Huynh '93 and Paul Abrahamse, Peter Rosenthal '90, Amelia Sams Whittington '05 and Samuel Whittington '04, Ori Fienberg '05, Emily Miranker '08, Josh Fraimow '84, Laura Speare '93, and Sky Pettey '94 were among those who generously contributed.
Several alumni made donations in memory of Professor Dewey Ganzel, including Marianne Bower '86, Ruth Feingold '87, and Peter Rosenthal '90. Ori Fienberg '05, Josh Fraimow '84, Charles Hawley '84, Graham Johnson '99, and Rachel Pillsbury '00 also made donations in 2018, with some honoring Professor David Walker '72.
In 2023, a number of alumni and friends of the college made donations to the Oberlin-in-London Program. Marianne Bower '86, Sharon J. Peter Rosenthal '90 made a donation in memory of Professor Thomas Linehan, while Daniel Willner '95 made a donation in honor of Professor David Walker.
