"2025-26 Karnataka Class 10 Math Midterm Exam Question Paper and Solution: Access Here in PDF Format"

The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) conducted the SSLC (Class 10) Mid-Term Examination 2025-26 on the 16th of September, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 1:45 PM. The exam was applicable to all Government, Aided, and Private Schools affiliated to KSEAB.

The question paper, available for download on the official KSEAB website (https://kseab.karnataka.gov.in), consisted of 38 questions in total. The paper was designed to test students' grasp of fundamental concepts, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills covered in the first half of the syllabus.

The paper was a mix of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Short Answer, and Long Answer questions. The questions ranged from finding the sum of the first n positive integers to determining the second term in an arithmetic progression.

Question 11 in the Maths mid-term paper asked for the formula to find the sum of the first n positive integers. The correct formula is: Sn=2n(n+1). Question 10 inquired about the number of solutions for inconsistent linear equations in two variables. The correct answer is: If a pair of linear equations in two variables is inconsistent, they have no solution.

Question 15 asked for the cost of a bat if the cost of a ball is given and the total cost of 3 bats and 2 balls is Rs. 700. The correct answer was found to be Rs. 200. Question 14 asked for the second term in an arithmetic progression if the sum of three consecutive terms is 21. The correct answer was 7.

Question 12 asked for the conditions for the similarity of two polygons having the same number of sides. The correct conditions are that corresponding angles are equal, and corresponding sides are proportional. Question 13 asked for the value of k in a given polynomial. The correct answer was 6.

Question I asked for the degree of a polynomial. The correct answer was (B) 3. The exam was designed to be of a moderate difficulty level, balancing conceptual and application questions. The total theory marks for the exam were 80.
